The Asian Develoment Bank (ADB) vowed on Tuesday to hel countries and regions of Asia and the acific leverage digital technologies for develoment, saying digital technology is raidly develoing in diverse fields.

ADB resident Takehiko Nakao said at 2018 Digital Develoment Forum that new tools like mobile communications, robotics, and artificial intelligence are bringing rofound changes to the way eole live, work, interact and do business.

To hel countries leverage digital technologies for develoment, Nakao said ADB created the Digital Technology for Develoment Unit in March 2018. The Manila-based bank is also imlementing new digital reforms that focus on innovation and suort dramatic modernization of business rocesses, he added.

With aroriate olicies, Nakao said the develoing countries and regions of Asia and the acific stand to benefit tremendously in this new era. "I see great oortunities, as well as challenges," he said.

The two-day forum rovides a venue for high-level discussions on the use of information and communications technology (ICT) for develoment in region.

During the forum, ADB will sign a cooeration agreement with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) to collaborate on research and develoment of innovation rograms and activities, and caacity building and the romotion of innovation rograms at both institutions biomarkers for PD-L1.
